A: The opening is 1.56 inches and designed to fit on almost all cast-iron skillets.
Q: What's the max heat resistance temp? Can it be used in the oven?
A: The Pan Buddy™ is rated to heats up to 300 degrees. It can be used on gas or electric stove tops. It is not intended to be used in the oven during cooking, but could be attached to the skillet handle while it is in the oven for easy removal.
